Three Wonderful Years!

Brady and I celebrated our third anniversary yesterday! It's hard to believe that it's been three years already, yet at the same time it feels like we've been married forever.

This year, it seems like our anniversary kind of snuck up on us and we spent a fair amount of money on anniversary gifts, so our celebration was very low-key. We're thinking of planning a short trip later on as a belated celebration.

In the evening, we went to the temple to do sealings. It had been a while since we had been to the temple (probably longer than it should be), and it was amazing how much peace and happiness I felt just walking in.

I was really glad that we did sealings because it really brought back memories of our wedding day and we got to hear again the covenants we made and the blessings promised when we were sealed three years ago. I am so grateful for a wonderful, loving husband who honors his Priesthood, he has been a tremendous blessing in my life and I love him so much.

Afterwards, we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. We had never been there before, but many people had told us the food was amazing, so we decided to give it a try.

We were not disappointed with our choice. The food was amazing, steak so tender and flavorful you didn't even need A-1 sauce or anything. The sides were excellent as well, and Brady ordered a frozen, orange cream drink which was delectable. The service was great as well, and since it was our first time in, they gave us a bag of their fresh roasted peanuts, and a coupon for a free appetizer.

So all in all, it was a very nice, relaxed evening. It was just wonderful to be together and remember the covenants and blessings that come with our temple marriage.

Happy Anniversary, I am so grateful we will be able to be together forever!
